How this social media agency started

Founder George Hawwa helped start two successful global businesses through social media between 2010 – 2016. Before long, due to his experience, George was being approached by organisations to assist them.

Global multinational companies and organisations, including not-for-profits, government departments and e-Commerce businesses, asked George to help look for ways to create a profitable, engaging campaign via social media, as well as other forms of digital marketing.

Due to the number of organisations being assisted by George, he started a social media agency, and Attention Experts was born in August 2016.Founded on experience, entrepreneurialism and an interest in social media marketing services, Attention Experts has grown considerably quickly. Managing clients from more than 20 different industries ranging from small businesses to multinationals across the globe.

George is in charge of the overall growth and best practices of Attention Experts.George shares some accolades: being named in the ‘Top 30 leaders under 30’ in 2007 by Entrepreneur Australia Magazine and had won ‘Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ for 2018 at the NSW Business Chamber Regional awards.He also currently lectures at Sydney University on social media strategy to Postgraduate students at the Centre for Continual Education.George is a sought after speaker and educator on social media strategy and business.

Establishment and Growth Coordinator

Maria joined the Attention Experts team in February 2021 as our Establishment and Growth Coordinator. Prior to working at Attention Experts, Maria worked in direct sales, human resources, and customer relationship management, acquiring highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Maria is responsible for overseeing day to day operations at Attention Experts, ensuring the company’s policies and procedures are being followed, and of course, managing the recruitment and selection process for the company.

Meg Kemp

Client Growth Manager

Meg started as a Client Success Executive with us in April 2020. She has rapidly progressed through the Attention Experts ranks by being promoted to our Client Growth Manager in early 2021 thanks to her ability to think practically and maintain strong client relationships. Meg oversees the hard communication and the team which provides this. Meg and her team also work closely with our Client Success team to ensure all communication is coordinated between the production on our accounts and the client’s expectations and understanding.

Anna started as a Client Success Executive with us in 2019. She quickly moved up the ranks and became an all-rounder, leading our ads management and strategy in 2019.
